The Collingswood Community Habitat Project in conjunction with the Proud Neighbors Association’s Porch Brunch, House, & Garden Tour will be featuring four certified habitat garden properties in town on Sunday, May 21. The different properties are habitat demonstration gardens to show what is possible in good looking and functional gardens. Check back here for more information. Click here for Information. (The hours posted on their page are incorrect.) The Certified Garden Tours are from 12noon until 5pm. The Proud Neighbors Porch Brunch starts at 10am – 12noon, and their House & Garden Tours are 12noon – 5pm.
The Community Habitat Garden Tour will consist of four private residence gardens. There will be project team members at the different locations to answer questions about the program and how you can make your gardens butterfly friendly and get them certified. If you have additional questions or need additional information, the team leader, Stephen Coan, will be located at 131 Lawnside Avenue to answer any questions about the project. We will also have printed information from the National Wildlife Federation and the Habitat Project at each location.
